Tibidabo is the highest peak of the Collserola mountain range and Barcelona's best natural viewpoint, with views that on clear days reach the sea and the rest of the metropolitan area.
Two very different attractions share its summit: the Tibidabo Amusement Park, one of the oldest amusement parks in the world still in operation (it opened in 1899), and the Sagrat Cor temple, a neo-Gothic church topped with a large statue of Christ visible from much of the city.
Getting to the top is part of the experience: the historic Tramvia Blau and the Tibidabo funicular run from Plaça John F. Kennedy up to the summit, though there's also the more direct option of the Tibibus from Plaça Catalunya.
